Dry Needling

Integrative Dry Needling involves placing a thin, non-medicated needle into tissue in the body with the goal of reducing pain and improving movement.

This is a powerful modality to treat soft tissue dysfunction and we have had many patients experience amazing results.

Cited in the American Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors Policy Guidelines: Physical Therapist Scope of Practice, dry needling is described as a therapeutic intervention for “alleviating impairment and functional limitation.” It is listed among manual therapy techniques in the Guide to Physical Therapy Practice 3.0.2.
